Week 5 Discussion Director

     Up to the meeting between Bilbo and Smaug, the hobbit is obviously getting upset and in a bad overall mood. He snaps and yells at the dwarves which is very out of his character and a sharp contrast to the beginning of the journey.

1.) If you were Bilbo up to this point, would you also be angry and frustrated? Would you still be homesick and consider turning back after going so far? Why or why not?

2.) How would you feel if you were in Smaug's place? Would you be angry that a hobbit came uninvited into your home and stolen from you? Or would you entertain your unwelcome guests? Why or why not?
